Process Post: Project #4

I started with the idea of doing a concept with speak no evil, hear no evil, and see no evil. I took reference photos of my sister covering her mouth, ears, and eyes. I had trouble figuring out how to compose these photos to make an interesting composition, especially since my goals included composition so I had to be more wary. Once I finally found an overall acceptable composition, I began sketching. Since it included a lot of different hand poses, it was difficult to complete the sketch quickly. I was a little behind on time so I had to sketch quickly and get the shading with ink on in one period. My lining came out rather messy due to the lack of time I had. I would have worked more on details and taken more time to plan out patches of shading. Overall, I think it turned out okay taking into consideration the time management.
