Oura Sananikone is an artist that creates cartoon-like pieces with vibrant colors and explores the different mediums of art throughout his work. He has created murals, comics, paintings, etc. He maintains his art style within almost every piece of his but each piece also has a certain individuality and specialty to it. It was interesting hearing him talk about color and when to use what kinds of color to convey different themes/areas of art with his comics. If I could ask him a question I would ask how can I steer myself away from being afraid of using bright colors in my artwork? Did he experience a fear of that boldness or did it come naturally to him? I've always been more wary of when to use certain colors, but looking at his artwork all these various bright colors truly fit in with his style and art that it makes me want to open up and try to use more color within my works.

Beginning the creative and thinking process for this project was difficult. At first I was thinking about make something that had to do with discussions of survival or need. I ended up deciding to create a hand out of clay and a skeleton hand out of plaster. I started the process by working on the hand, but I was stuck and I didn't know how to proceed after retrieving my clay. I decided to go about using a YouTube tutorial which helped me tremendously. I split my clay into thirds and sculpted each to look like one part of the hand- one was the palm, one was the fingers, and one was the wrist. Once I put all of the pieces together, I began working on the details. It was hard at first, but I ended up with a relatively realistic hand due to the process becoming more comfortable and easy for me to complete.

A film editor works with clips from feature films, TV shows, and more to create an interesting and aesthetically pleasing production. They use creative planning to assemble these clips but also have to think about the timing and the story of the film. With the aid of music and added images and effects, the film comes together as one to entertain viewers. Colleges with good film editing programs are Yale University, Wesleyan University, Wellesley College, Vassar College, University of California Berkeley, Liberty University, VCU, George Mason, etc. The majors film editors normally study are cinematography, film making, animation, video editing, and various more. Film editors need to be able to give attention to detail, to communicate well, and to be able to tell a story from an entertaining point of view.
